Hi, this site is where I can share my creative process. I love paper crafting!! My Cricut, Provo Craft, is my favorite tool. I like the versatility scrapbooking offers. One day you are making a birthday card and the next you are creating a wind chime. Thanks for visiting I hope you come again.

Super Easy Card: Spring
This is a super easy card to make and can be changed to suit all seasons and occasions. I wanted to use borders from my Ribbons & Rosettes cricut cartridge, but for some reason has quit working. Instead I decided to emboss strips alternating two designs.
Items Used:
(1)Cricut Expression/Gypsy
(2)Lyrical Letters Cricut Cartridge
(3)Cardstock: Pastel, Green, Pink, Blue, Yellow, Purple (Recollections)
(4)Cuttlebug Embossing Folders: Perfectly Paisley, I don't know the name of the other folder.
(5)Flower Brad
(6)Light Pink Ribbon (Offray)
(7)Pixie Dust Chalk Ink (Versa Magic, Tsukineko)
(8)White Gel Pen
(9)Glue Pen (Zig)
(10)ATG gun
How I Did It:
(1)Card Base: 4.25"x11" scored at 5.5", pastel green
(2)Cut strips in pink, blue, yellow and purple to 1.5"x4.25".
(3)Emboss the pink and yellow strips with the perfectly paisley folder and the blue and purple strips with the flower folder.
(4)Layer and adhere the strips on the bottom of the card.
(5)Adhere the pink ribbon along the top of the pink strip so that the ends can be tied on the right side.
(6)Place purple flower brad by ribbon bow.
(7)Spring: Cut with Lyrical Letters cartridge. W.3.74", H.1.59" in pastel yellow.
(8)Flower leaf and flower: Shift function on. Cut once in purple(flower) and once in blue(leaf)
(9)Using a white gel pen draw in the leafs veins and the pollen of the flower.
(10)Adhere layers to "Spring" and adhere to top of card.
(11)Using pink (pixie dust) chalk ink, ink the edges of the card without embossed strips.
