Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!

Happy Valentines Day!! I thought I would share these cute valentines I made for my niece(2) and nephew(4). They aren't allowed a lot of sugar so I used Praeventia heart shaped snack pack cookies in the middle of this valentine. I think they turned out really cute.

What I Used:
(1)Cricut Expression/Gypsy
(2)Sesame Street Friends cricut cartridge
(3)Plantin Schoolbook cricut cartridge
(4)Musical Fleurish cuttlebug embossing folder
(5)Cardstock: Recollections, Bazzil, K&Company
(6)Red Ribbon (Offray)
(7)Satin hearts (Dollar Store)
(8)Metal hearts (Michael's, in wedding section)
(9)Cropadile or hole punch
(10)Glue pen (Zig)
(11)Double-sided tape (Scrappin Gear)

How I did It:
(1)Card Base= 5.5"x8.5". Score at 3.75" & 4.75".
(2)Cookie Monster cut at W.3.26", H.4.53" (Sesame Street Friends:Row#2, Column#4)
(3)Adhere all layers to make Cookie Monster and glue on Google eyes.
(4)Make a matte, heart paper, 3.5"x5.25". Run this through your cuttlebug using the musical fleurish embossing folder. Adhere onto card base.
(5)Adhere Cookie Monster to left side of card.
(6)Using the Plantin Schoolbook cut out your lettering. I used the weld feature on my Gypsy. Glue onto card base using a satin heart as a replacement for the word 'love.
(7)Along the top measure out every .5" and place a hole there.Using your red ribbon weave it through the holes to close up the top.Make a knot at the end. Add the metal hearts to this end and add more red ribbon.
(8)Adhere the word 'cookies to the cookie pack and place inside.

I hope you all were spoiled and thanks for visiting.
