My Cupcake

My Cupcake: I found this paper, Recollections 25pack, at Michael's today for $3.99. I fell in love with the cupcake paper and had to make something with it right away. Let me know what you think.

Products Used:
1.Cricut Expression/Gypsy
2.Cricut Cartridges: All Mixed Up, Celebrations, Ribbons & Rosettes
3.Cupcake paper (Recollections)
4.Cardstock: Red, Light Pink, Medium Pink
5.Red straight ribbon (Spool O' Ribbon, Of ray)
6.Imaginisce stone setter and clear crystals
7.Red rhinestone heart (I got this one at the dollar store)
8.Double sided tape (Scrappin' Gear)
9.Glue pen (Zig)
10.Dimensionals (Recollections)

How I Did It:
1.Cut the cupcake paper to 8.5" x 5.5". Score at 4.25" and fold to form card base.
2.Create heart/diamond border using the Ribbons & Rosettes cartridge.
Pg.35 of the handbook.
Red Paper= Shift/Border 1" x 11", Size 3/4.
Med. Pink paper= Border 1" x 11", Size 3/4.
Adhere the pink border over the red.
Using the Imaginisce heat setter adhere small clear crystals to the center of each of the diamonds.
3.Create cupcake using the Celebrations cartridge.
Light Pink: Shift/Shadow, Size H.2.88, Row#2, Column#10 on overlay
Med. Pink paper (cupcake top): Shift, H.2.88
Red paper (cupcake bottom): Shift, H.2.88
Adhere liner and top to their light pink shadows.
Using the Imaginisce heat setter adhere small clear crystals to the top of the cupcake to create sprinkles.
Adhere red rhinestone heart to the top right of the cupcake top.
Adhere dimensional to the top and bottom of cupcake.
4.Create "My Cupcake" using the All Mixed Up cartridge.
Red paper: My cupcake, Size H.1.12 (If you have a Gypsy you can weld the letters together. I am hoping that next month I will be able to do video tutorials on how to do things like welding).
5.Adhere border 1" from bottom of card. You will have to cut the extra border off on each side.
6.Adhere red ribbon to bottom of border and to the very top of the card.
7.Adhere cupcake, with dimensionals, to card on a slight angle.
8.Adhere "My" above the border and center in the remaining area. Adhere "cupcake" below the border centered.

If any of the instructions are unclear please leave a comment or email and I will try to make them clearer. Happy Monday!! See you soon.
