Hi, this site is where I can share my creative process. I love paper crafting!! My Cricut, Provo Craft, is my favorite tool. I like the versatility scrapbooking offers. One day you are making a birthday card and the next you are creating a wind chime. Thanks for visiting I hope you come again.

Bee Mine
Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am trying to use my Spring Holiday Cards cartridge for more than just classroom valentines this year. The bee ribbon and patterned paper is what inspired me to make this card. The patterned paper reminded me of a honeycomb. I really like how it turned out. Let me know what you think.
Supplies Needed:
1.Spring Holiday Cards Cricut cartridge
2.Cricut/Gypsy
3.Patterned paper (DCWV, Blossoms & Butterflies)
4.Cardstock: Golden Yellow, Black, Light Pink, Light Turquoise
5.Bee ribbon (Michael's, Special Value Ribbon)
6.Large & small black brads (Recollections)
7.Paper flowers (Prima)
8.Double sided tape (Scrappin-Gear)
9.Scissors/Craft knife
10.Scoreboard
11.Hole punch
How I created this card:
1.Cut patterned paper to L. 12", W. 6"
2.Score in half to form a 6"x6" card.
3.Spring Holiday Cards
Cut Bee Mine at H.6.76"
4.Place black cardstock behind eyes & stripes of bee. Place pink paper behind mouth and turquoise behind wings and "Bee Mine". Using a craft knife trim the excess off wings, stripes etc.
5.Using hole punch, punch out 2 circles and adhere these to the antenae.
6.Adhere the "Bee Mine" to the top of the card leaving approximately 1.5" at the bottom.
7.Adhere bee ribbon 1.75" from the bottom of the card.
8.Arrange flowers how you like them and adhere them with brads to the card. You could also make the flowers yourself if you don't have any on hand.
