Several people have asked how I store my cricut cartridges so this is what I do. All you need is a paper towel holder, 12x12 page protectors, 3 binder clips, sewing machine and craft knife.
(1)Sew compartments into your page protector.
Horizontal Lines: Sew along top of page protector about .5 inch in. Also, sew across at 4.25 inches in.
Vertical Lines: Sew from top to bottom at 4.25 inches and 7.75 inches.
(2)Using a craft knife and ruler gently cut open each compartment about .5 inches down from sewed line.
(3)Now you are ready to put your cartridges, inlays and manuals into the page protector. I would suggest taking your 4 inlays and place them all in the front middle pocket before placing anything else in. Also, I found that if you folded the inlays in half lengthwise it was easier to wiggle them in. I have a Gypsy so I don't use my inlays often. If you do use your inlays often you may want to place your cartridge, manual and inlay horizontally instead of vertically by sewing along the top and middle so you have a bit more room. After putting the inlays in place your manuals and cartridges in.
(4)Place the three binder clips around the paper towel holder and then place the page protectors onto the binder rings. When done lock the binder clip. I suggest starting with the bottom hole and work your way up.
So I hope this helps everyone who asked. Also, I do this with 8.5x11 inch page protectors to store my stickers and embellishments. No sewing involved. I would just suggest placing a heavier cardstock in the protector to help it stand up. Till next time...
