Love Bug: Card 3/8
This is the third card in my "You're Tweet" mailbox. Please see previous blogs for instructions for the first two cards.
Card Base: Wild Card cartridge. Page 34 in the handbook. Row#1, Column#3 on the inlay.
(1) Cuts: W.5.21", H.2.53" (Gypsy). Polka dot cardstock (Recollections)
(2) Blackout feature on.
Bug: Create a Critter cartridge. Page 66 in the handbook. Row#5, Column#3 on the inlay.
(1) Cuts: W.1.18", H.1.59, (Gypsy)
(2) Shadow: Yellow
(3) Lady Bug: Black
(4) Layer 1: Pink
(5) Layer 2: Small red polka dot
Flowers: Create a Critter cartridge. Page 66 in the handbook. Row#5, Column#3 on the inlay.
(1) Cuts: W.1.45", H.1.94" (Gypsy)
(2) Accessory function on: Green, Cut 2x. (stems)
(3) Accessory/Shift function on: Yellow, Cut 2x (flowers)
"Love Bug": Crate a Critter cartridge. Page 66 in the handbook. Row#5, Column#3 on the inlay.
(1) Cuts: W.2.26", H.1.94" (Gypsy)
(2) Phrase function on: Black
(3) Phrase/Shift function on: Red
Putting it all together:
(1) Adhere ribbon (Offray) to bottom of card base.
(2) Take all the pieces to the bug and adhere them together.
(3) Adhere yellow flowers to green stems. Adhere the taller flowers on the outside and the shorter ones in the middle of the card.
(4) Place dimensional on the back of the bug and adhere it to the card.
(5) Adhere "Love Bug" to the inside of the card.
